Annual Lineback Auction

The 2008 spring auction was held near Appleton, Wisconsin. The sale was well attended with a nice turnout of buyers and cattle.

All ages from newborn calves to established milking cows were auctioned off to new homes. Some of these nice Linebacks went home with some happy youth to show in their local 4-H clubs.

Thanks to all those who helped to make this year's auction a success, which includes everyone from buyers to sellers and also to the bystanders who just like to see these beautiful animals. All who helped behind the scenes to make this auction happen should be commended for their efforts. Also a big thanks to the Cow Palace North for their fine facilities.

Although the auction is now past, the catalog of the animals will remain on the website for a little longer for those who wish to see the different styles and ages of linebacks offered.

Next year the auction will be held on the East coast. Details will be provided upon confirmation of date, time and location.

Second National Lineback Junior Show

In conjunction with our annual spring auction, we also will present the 2nd National Lineback Junior Show.

Spring 2007 was our first show and it was well attended. Many youth from Pennsylvania, and neighboring states participated plus one traveling from Wisconsin. Be sure to read all the requirements in the November newsletter if you're interested in showing..
